Jenny Slatton and Sumit Singh opened a cafe after moving to India. The couple from 90 Day Fiance has faced complications while starting their business. No running water source, no hired help, and daily operations caused a lot of problems. But they figured everything out and worked on improving the cafe. However, it turns out Jenny does not know how to give change back to customers.
In the past, the stress of running a cafe has made Jenny wanna quit. Like the time she was in charge of making coffee and was trying to do so without plugging the machine in. But this time her ignorance is costing the cafe money. How did Sumit find out that Jenny cannot do basic math? Read more to find out.

90 Day Fiance’s Jenny and Sumit wanted to pick up equipment for the cafe and visited the latter’s friend, Rohit. However, things got tense when Rohit mocked her cooking skills. He said he had the spaghetti she made and wondered how someone like her could do the cooking for the cafe. This rubbed her the wrong way. This made her quickly reply that if he was such an expert, how did his business fail? Clearly, she does not like Rohit, and fans cannot blame her.
Rohit made Jenny dislike him more when he came to the inauguration of the cafe unannounced. When asked if he would like to order something, he only orders coffee, stating that everything is expensive. Jenny thought he was only there to judge and be negative, so she told him to go away since he won’t order anything. He kept being critical of everything about the cafe, and that affected Sumit’s confidence. Jenny added Rohit has jealousy.
In 90 Day Fiance clip, Jenny showed maths is not her strong suit. Turns out she has cost the cafe some money because she couldn’t understand the concept of change. In the clip, Jenny gave some money to customers who ordered from them. Soon after, her father-in-law asked her if she has given away all the change he had given her. He is astonished to find that she indeed has.
In the clip, Jenny’s father-in-law asked her how much money they gave the customer, to which she daid all of it. The father-in-law replies, “You have given them all the change I have given to you,” and that she has not charged anybody. In response to this, Jenny said that she does not know “how Indian money works.” Sumit has a few things to say about his wife.
In the confessional, Sumit admitted that it is basic maths that Jenny couldn’t comprehend. He explained how change works everywhere. If someone buys something for 60 and gives you 100, 40 is the change. This isn’t a foreign concept. Jenny claimed that she does not understand the change.
In the confessional, Jenny laughed and confessed that maybe the cafe didn’t make any money from that sale. In the comment section, fans flamed Jenny for not understanding something so simple. Another asked how long she has been in India. Another user wrote, “Jenny thinking giving all the money away is funny would’ve pissed me clean off.” For more 90 Day Fiance updates, follow TV Seasons and Spoilers.
