​The post further stated that no one on the show mentioned his previous marriage. “Georgi was married to someone else and had been in the US for a few years. I think he was an established masseuse in DC also,” the OP added. The original poster added that if he already had American citizenship, why was Darcey still saying he used her for a green card? The Redditor continued, “If I was him, I would stand up and scream that she was not his sponsor and he really owes her nothing. Am I wrong?”

​A user replied that the makers also brought back the “obligated to support him for ten years” narrative, even though he has been in the US for 13 years. “This whole storyline is more enhanced than Darcey’s cleavage,” the same person joked. Another replied that this storyline is bullsh*t, as he has been in the country for more than a decade.
