As mentioned above, Yve and Mohamed hit a rough path rather quickly in their marriage. Things hit the roof when the latter accused the former of domestically abusing him. Hence, the American woman had charges against her for battery and assault of a “household member”. As per Popculture, Yve’s immigrant attorney, Kathleen Martinez, recently gave an interview regarding the situation. She stated that Mohamed has been trying to obtain a U Visa now that his marriage with Yve was not working out. It is the kind of visa meant for abuse victims and witnesses or other kinds. In order to do so, he faked the claims.
When Yve and Mohamed’s case first came to light, there was an audio leak. It had the 90 Day Fiance star yelling at her husband for not being useful in the household. Martinez also brought that up during her interview. She maintained that one person screaming at another doesn’t prove they were domestically abusing them. As per the lawyer, Yve was coming to terms with how her husband hadn’t been “contributing” to their marriage. She figured out that the Egyptian man was “using her”. Hence, she reacted aggressively in the clip. The attorney assured the audience that they would provide more proof in the coming future to prove Yve’s innocence.

Mohamed and Yve’s troubling relationship first came into the limelight after Tell All. Apparently, the foreigner had started talking to another woman behind his wife’s back. A few weeks later, the domestic abuse case made headlines and shocked the entire 90 Day Fiance industry. They continue to side with Yve as they could tell that her husband seemed fishy right off his first appearance on the show. As things are not okay between the two, they are separated and will soon get a divorce. Amidst this, the celebrity made a post on his Instagram handle, seemingly taking a dig at Yve. Mohamed was holding on to a dog while saying that pets are the only ones capable of “true love”. It became quite clear to the audience that he was trying to call Yve out. The latter has not yet responded to the post or the charges against her. Yet, 90 Day Fiance fans have been quite supportive of her.
