So, he is thrilled that HBO has given him a chance to fit Captain Ryan Clark and his passengers and the crew. The director revealed that Avenue 5 Season 2 would be more emotional and physical hell.

By the end of the first season of the series, the series had become quite a mysterious piece of comedy. In the last episode of the first season, the crew finds a way how they can shorten their journey. They figure out a way to make it about six months long. All of them decide that they must discard all the additional weight on the ship. However, things don’t really happen the way they were planned. As a result of all of this confusion and actions, the journey gets extended to about eight years. This makes everyone on-board fuming mad. Iris accidentally is sent back to Earth.
The upcoming season could see the whole team either sinking deeper in the state of chaos, or they might join hands and come up with a new plan that could help them escape this mess. Either way, what we do know is that the second season will bring more comedy for all the avid viewers of the show.
One of the major things that Avenue 5 Season 2 could address is Iris and how he was launched back to Earth. Although the chances of that happening are low, the team might come up with an unimaginable and quirky way to get out. The ship is lost in a deep, vast world of space. When Will The Show Release?
Back in April 2020, the creator of the show Armando Lannucci revealed the status of Avenue 5 Season 2. He revealed that the show was in the early stages of pre-production. They had mapped out the first six episodes of the series. With that said, he revealed that the final three episodes would be done by May 2020. Flash forward to eight months after the interview, we can assume that the creator is done with the pre-production.
Keeping in mind that we do not yet have any official updates on whether or not the team has started production, we can expect that they will start it soon. Many productions are now back on track with the shooting of a number of series. So, if the team hasn’t started productions yet, they will soon. So, with all the positive hopes, we can expect to see the new episodes of Avenue 5 Season 2 sometime by the end of 2021 or early 2022.
