Barkskins Season 2: What Would Happen?
The finale episode of Barkskins saw Iroquois attacking Wobik; our protagonist gathers when the blood was staring. However, we don’t yet know who survived the whole war. By the end, Renardette had stabbed Ratahsénthos. On the other side, Hamish Goames was brutally injured. But what happens to him is still a mystery.
In the meantime, Charles and Melissande go towards Quebec City. Most of the characters’ fate was hanging in the middle by the end of the first season. It is still a mystery what happens to Hamish. Is he dead or alive? We don’t know. What happens with Trepagny? What happens there?
Barkskins Season 2 will bring up all of these answers. There is still a part of the book left, so that would act as the source material for the upcoming season. By the end of the first season, there were troubles in New France that continued to persist for hundreds of years after the events of Barkskins. So, while the second season can continue telling the story from the first season, there is a chance that a spin-off would happen to the storyline.
