Baylen and Colin’s original wedding venue was pretty, but it was also remote. The Baylen Out Loud star picked a gorgeous venue that sat on top of a hill. As pretty as it was, they couldn’t go along with it. Baylen shares that their wedding planner informed them that they were “venue poor,” meaning it was an expensive one, and the couple did not have enough budget. So instead of mopping around with it, they decided to change the venue to a much more convenient location.

Baylen and Colin’s new wedding venue is Airlie, which was featured on Season 2. Connectivity is good, with an airport nearby, making a comfortable commute for guests. Baylen and Colin learned a valuable lesson from their joint Bach weekend at a remote venue where many guests, including her sister Sammi, could not attend. They couldn’t let the venue cause fewer guests to attend the wedding, either.

As for the down payment for the original venue, they cannot get a refund. However, Julie, who previously worried about the venue, is now happy. Baylen’s wedding venue change also came with another surprise – Airlie had a spot opened, but on an earlier date.
