Baylen tried an anti-tic device called Neupluse in London in the Baylen Out Loud Season 2 finale. It worked well for her, and she got emotional about how calm it made her brain. However, Neupulse is not available in the US. So, Baylen fans left her DMs urging her to try a TENS unit.
So Baylen made a social media post, showing her trying it on. Colin also helped her with it. She tried it the same way, tying it around her wrist to see if it was effective, like the Neupulse device she had tried in London. Will it work well on Baylen? Can it be the alternative she can use in the US? Read more to find out.
In Season 2 of Baylen Out Loud, Baylen tried the anti-tic device Neupulse in London. The experience was beyond favorable. It gave a numbing sensation through her fingers and up her arm. She adjusted the vibration’s sensitivity, and it calmed her brain. She mentioned that she still had the urge to tic, but it was way less.
Baylen’s experience with Neupulse moved fans, too. In the finale, Baylen got emotional, saying she calmed and hasn’t felt like this since she was 13. Fans were “sobbing” as they watched the device work. The entire Baylen fandom was praying for Neupulse to work, and when it did, fans were ecstatic and cried happy tears.
In an Instagram post, Baylen tried a TENS Unit. The Baylen Out Loud star posted the experience on her social media. For those who don’t know, a TENS unit is a small device that sends gentle electrical pulses through the skin. Some people with Tourette’s use it to help reduce tic urges. The TikToker received many DMs from fans urging her to try a TENS unit. So she did.
Baylen got help with the device from Colin. Colin had the controller with him and changed the frequency as Baylen wanted. At first, she began to experience nervous tics. He asked her if she was scared. She said it’s because she was nervous. “This doesn’t feel the same”, she said as she told him to change the frequency. Baylen liked the feeling with some, others not so much.
If it was too much, she immediately asked Colin to stop. The unit made her arm twitch too much. At a specific frequency, she stated that she can feel vibrations near her thumb on her palm. She also said that Neupulse sensations started in her fingers; this device made her feel them in different areas.
At a specific frequency, she said it’s almost the same as the Neupulse, but it’s really not. “It is more irritated, if that makes sense”, she told Colin. In another setting, she felt as if someone were stepping on her arm. Turning it up to another sensitivity, she thought it was going too fast and gave it a hard no. Overall, Baylen’s experience with the TENS device was not on par with Neupulse. For more Baylen Out Loud updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
