Baylen Out Loud star Baylen Dupree has developed a new tic that fans and viewers have never seen or heard before. Her Tourette’s Syndrome often manifests in verbal tics that cause her to say it out loud. Nothing new there. However, this new verbal tic has made her nervous, and it’s pretty inappropriate.

In 2020, Baylen was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome. She has since been open about what it is like to live with it. So, what is Baylen’s new verbal tic? Why is she nervous about it?

Baylen Out Loud: Baylen Gives Wedding Updates!

Season 2 of Baylen Out Loud has been all about Baylen and Colin’s upcoming nuptials. Colin met Baylen on a dating app in 2022, and he became very observant, studying up about Tourette’s. The couple got engaged in 2024, in Season 1 of Baylen Out Loud. The wedding planning is well underway in Season 2, and fans are getting updates about it and loving it.

Baylen has commented that she wants a colorful wedding. The wedding planning has so far involved a tour of potential venues. While Baylen’s father wanted a backyard wedding, the couple sought other options. The couple was given a tour of Airlie, a wedding venue, and they were in awe of the venue. While in the midst of the wedding planning, Baylen also celebrated spooky season with a couple’s Halloween costume on Instagram.

Baylen Out Lod star Baylen Dupree is nervous about her new tic. Why? Because it involved yelling curse words at Colin’s mother. Baylen has Tourette’s, which makes her say random words out loud. Sometimes it’s curse words. With the wedding planning underway, Baylen’s new tic is about her mother-in-law.

In an exclusive clip by PEOPLE, the upcoming episode will have Baylen and fiance, Colin, travel to Roanoke, Virginia, for a family meetup and wedding planning update with Colin’s family. In the clip, the couple is walking towards the car when Baylen Tourette causes her to say a verbal tic. “Marlene’s a dirty, fat, filthy, horny f—— whore,” she says. Baylen also calls Marlene a “lying bitch”. Marlene is Colin’s mother.

Baylen is worried this might make things awkward with her mother-in-law. She jokingly says, “Because of the new tic I have about Marlene, we think it’s best that we stay in a hotel for the night”, in a confessional. Colin is supportive as ever. He says that his mother knows Baylen can’t control her tics. Colin says, “So look her right in the eyes, into her soul and…” and Baylen cuts him off mid-sentence with “Marlene’s a dirty, fat, filthy, horny whore, you bitch.”

Baylen is visibly worried about her new verbal tic. Colin shares that his family knows the tics are not intentional and can’t be controlled, and they are okay with it. Colin adds, “I want her to get over the fear that she’s having or this anxiety that she’s having that my mom’s going to like, hate her for saying that,” he says. “She knows she’s not a fat, dirty, filthy whore,” he ends the conversation with.
