The parents of the Baylen Out Loud star accompanied Baylen and Colin to London. When he got anxious on the flight, they were truly worried about him. Earlier, they stated that his flying anxiety made it ironic. Since he worked for the Air Force, Colin’s anxiety was rather unimaginable.
However, in the flight, Colin showed signs of anxiety when the flight was taking off. Julie thought he looked like he was going to pass out. Baylen’s parents were deeply concerned for him as it was an eight-hour flight. They were more worried about the fact that his anxiety would make Baylen anxious, too.
Colin is terrified of flying. In the latest sneak peek, he is having an anxiety attack mid-flight. He is asking questions that stuck fans as odd. Now, fans of the show are taking to Reddit to discuss him. A Reddit post titled “Is Colin really that dumb?” drew fans’ attention, who shared their opinions about Colin’s anxiety. Some Baylen Out Loud fans came to his rescue.
They stated that not everyone working in the Air Force needs to be in the air or know everything about flights. Another stated that they cannot imagine a 25-year-old thinking a 19-year-old would be the pilot of a commercial international flight. A fan cleared the air, saying that, “He does a lot of ceremonies, including funeral rites. This has nothing to do with planes.”
More logical Redditors pointed out that Colin must have had some training before starting work. He thinks his basic and active duty training didn’t teach him that planes don’t just fall off randomly. To this, another Redditor tried to clarify that not everyone learns about air safety. Someone who handles paychecks would technically still work for the Air Force, but wouldn’t know anything about flights. More comments criticized the OP, saying, “Bro doesn’t understand that the Air Force has more jobs than pilot”.
More Colin supporters claimed that “His position doesn’t involve flying, it’s just ironic he has a fear of flying but is in the Air Force.” Lastly, many talked about phobias and that people don’t have control over them. Most comments seem to be taking Colin’s side, stating that anxiety will make one cope by asking questions and saying random things just to calm the mind.
