Netflix released a new psychological series- Behind Her Eyes, a few days ago. And OMG, what a show. Soon after the release, the show made it to the top ten titles of the streaming giant. It was on the second number of the U.S. streaming chart. So now everyone wants to know if Behind Her Eyes Season 2 would happen?
Netflix initially released the show as a limited series. That means that the only season we would get was the first season. With that said, we also know that Netflix does take the viewership figures very seriously. So, keeping in mind the kind of response the inaugural season of Behind Her Eyes received, it is possible that Netflix might decide to move ahead with Behind Her Eyes Season 2. However, the streaming giant takes the time of about two weeks to six months to renew any show for additional seasons. So, we must wait to know what would happen to Behind Her Eyes Season 2.
What Would Happen?
If Netflix does bring Behind Her Eyes Season 2, it seems logical that it would pick up exactly where the first season of the season ended. Viewers were quite shocked with Louise (Rob in Lousie’s body) marrying David by the end of the first season. He had disposed of Adele, whose body he was inhabiting earlier.
As the newly married couple rolled in the countryside planning their honeymoon, Louise suggested for them to go on a cruise. However, then her son Adam pointed out that Louise hates boats. Viewers could see Adam saying, “You’ve always said that you hated boats.” To this, Louise smiles as she says that maybe she has changed.
The season ends just like that, with Adam looking wary back at Louise as the camera zooms closer to her eyes, and then credits roll. For what we know right now is that David had actually married Rob disguised as Louise. So, if the second season happens, it would most probably tell the story of what happens to David and Adam.
We cannot help but fear for the two of them. Sarah Pinborough’s novel makes Louise’s intentions very clear when it comes to Adam. Things start getting really cleared up by the end, especially. Louise is planning to harm Adam. She will be desperate to keep her secret and David all to herself. This could make a pretty gripping storyline as Adam would contend with Rob.
When Would The Show Release?
Since the show hasn’t been renewed yet, it is very tricky to say when the show would release. Topping that is the fact that the ongoing conditions can really delay any productions.
