The workplace comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine debuted back in 2013 on Fox and soon received a wave of critical praise. It revolves around the detectives’ lives who works in the Brooklyn’s 99th precinct while solving the different crimes and tackling their personal life.

The wake of Black Lives Matter protests ushered the thought as to how Hollywood depicts cops. And soon, Brooklyn Nine-Nine ditched its early scripts to reframe its eighth and final run. Now we learned that the filming began on Tuesday, and after all this time, the production has been ramped. But the star casts have just started teasing about the final run. Recently Melissa Fumero, who plays straitlaced Amy Santiago, posted an off-camera snap on Instagram.

Melissa shared her excitement, stating, “Ba ba ba back in the Nine-Nine!” with her co-stars Andre Braugher and Terry Crews. She added that she forgot to take a picture of her Day 1 shoot, so here’s from Day 2. Meanwhile, fellow co-stars also took us to their transformation ride. Now camera started rolling on ten final episodes of the beloved dramedy. So we can expect some spoilers too in the near future.

Dan Goor Said The Final Goodbye

Back in February, NBC announced that Brooklyn Nine-Nine would wrap up with a shortened eighth season. In response, the executive producer Dan Goor thanked NBC and Universal Television for giving this final run. He added that the eighth season would provide a better ending which fans and their characters deserve. However, wrapping the show was a tough decision. But it’s an honor to end the show in the best possible way. Dan added: “I’m grateful it lasted this long.”

There’s no doubt that Andy Samberg as Jake Peralta will return with his onscreen wife Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago. Besides them, Stephanie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz, Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords, and Joe Lo Truglio as Charles Boyle will also return. Andre Braugher as Captain Raymond Holt will also return with Dirk Blocker as Michael Hitchcock and Joel McKinnon Miller as Norm Scully.
