So recently, Brie Larson took to her social media to share her intense training sessions for the superhero role. She posted a video with her trainer, who is coaching her virtually. Brie can be seen doing heavy pull-ups with utmost ease in the minute-long clip. She captioned the post, “here we go again, time to start putting in the work.”
The Captain Marvel star is known for her body transformation for the role of Carol Danvers. Larson previously trained relentlessly to get into the shoes of this superhero character. She trained for the back-to-back releases of Captain Marvel and Avengers Endgame. Her early training videos include her pushing a car. It seems like she is all set to surprise her fans with a newer transformation.
Production Updates
From what Marvel has confirmed so far, Captain Marvel 2 will begin shooting next month. That means that the sequel will start filming this May, Screenrant reported. The shoots will be completed by July 2021, and the next step will be post-production. But, considering the hurdles of growing health risks, there are high chances that the filming might get postponed. Likewise, this will push the post-production even further. But both the fans and the production house are optimistic that the film will approach completion within the expected time period.
After looking at the huge success that WandaVision received, MCU brought in Megan McDonnell to write the female character with the same depth and arc. It will be worthwhile to watch how this badass superhero gets fleshed out in it’s newest installment.
Captain Marvel 2: Release Date
The official release date for this superhero movie was announced right after the first movie rolled out. The film is slated to release on 11 November 2022. But, now that Black Widow is still stuck in the line, it looks like all the releases will be pushed ahead. Besides, Marvel will wish for a theatrical release more than a digital one. So, it seems fair for the company to wait for normalcy and conjure new release dates. For now, we can only hope that the theatres open up soon and we get to witness Marvel’s action-packed fiestas on the big screens again.
