Recently, Todd, Julie, and Savannah Chrisley appeared on an ABC News Studios special titled ‘IMPACT x Nightline: The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup.’ He spoke about how he intentionally didn’t tune in to Masked Singer to see Savannah. The sit-down interview focused mainly on Julie and Todd’s painful days and nights in jail, and shifted to their daughter’s participation in the singing show.
When the Masked Singer was in Season 11, Savannah accepted the offer to become the Afghan Hound to sing two songs. But Todd said that he missed the particular episode because he could neither see nor listen to her pathetic singing. The father of five claimed that he was very embarrassed by the news, let alone by her performance.
Todd’s raw confession made Savannah and Julie burst into laughter. Julie shared that she was the only one to watch. Eventually, Savannah mentioned that she know how her dad asses her singing skills, so she thinks she is indeed an awful singer. Despite not praising her stage work, Todd appreciated her way of grabbing opportunities.
Todd loved how Savannah never gave up on herself. For those who don’t know, she was eliminated from the Fox show after singing Tokens’ “My Lion Sleeps Tonight.” When the host Nick Cannon questioned her about what led her to join the show, she joked about her dramatic life back then, with her parents being in prison.
