Coronation Street: Linda To Make A Fiery Comeback Next Year
Gemma Winter is facing the most difficult time of her life. While her mother, Bernie, faces a six-month imprisonment, her brother, Paul, is probably nearing the end of his life. Also, she is being investigated by social. Amid all these challenges, social services are investigating her after her son Joseph was poisoned. She has been prohibited from living with Joseph and her other children. The whole situation is simultaneously affecting her relationship with Chesney. In a recent episode of Coronation Street, Chesney asked Gemma to meet at Paul and Billy’s flat. He extended his apology for his earlier behavior and assured that they would get through this together.
Gemma was quite relieved after this, but her happiness was short-lived. Chesney revealed that he has been talking to Joseph’s gran Linda. Linda’s arrival has always turned out to be a negative memory for Gemma. The grandmother lives in Portugal and visits them once in a while. She has a lot of money and spends it on unnecessary things. Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod teased the upcoming storyline. He said, “Joseph’s fairy godmother turns up in the shape of Linda. She decides that she’s going to fix Joseph’s school troubles and starts throwing money at the situation.” He added that what Linda is doing doesn’t feel right, but Gemma and Chesney prioritise Joseph’s needs. However, it will put them in a tough spot.
