Coronation Street Star Jack Carroll Hints At A Romance Storyline For Bobby
The newest resident of Coronation Street, Bobby, is set for a ‘blockbuster’ romance. The Britain’s Got Talent star Jack Carroll recently made his arrival in the Weatherfield as Carla’s long-lost nephew. The actor revealed a romantic storyline for his character on ‘This Morning.’ When asked about having an eye for women, the stand-up comedian said, “Well, I think that will develop over the coming weeks!” He continued, “We will kind of see where it takes him, I think those developments will be very interesting going forward into this year.” Terming the storyline ‘blockbuster,’ he expressed his excitement.
The Coronation Street actor shared that they have already filmed some of the scenes. He continued that it will be over in the next few months. Earlier, he said, “There’s always a little bit of apprehension – I’d only been there a couple of weeks and then found out that I was going to be part of this massive storyline.” So, it’s confirmed that Bobby is going to be a part of a huge storyline involving romance in the next few months.
Additionally, back in October, Coronation Street maker Iain MacLeod teased, “Bobby is going to end up surprisingly in the center of perhaps our biggest story next year.” He added that Bobby has got a brilliant classical Coronation Street role to play at the start. Then, he abruptly finds himself in the middle of this huge story next year.
