Coronation Street star Lucy (Bethany) had her first child (Sonny) in the month of January this year with boyfriend Ryan Ledson. The 27-year-old actress shared a post on Instagram about a gadget that she found impressive. While going out with her baby and footballer boyfriend, she filmed a video demonstrating the gadget on her baby.
She captioned, “We recently picked up our new Maxi-Cosi Pearl 360 Pro car seat for our lil Sonny, and we have been loving using all the special features. The seat has SlideTech™️ and 360 rotation, making it super easy to get Sonny in and out of the car, and it will be perfect when he’s older and can face forward.
The actress added that she travels a lot to go and stay with her family in Blackpool, so it’s so important to have a seat that Sonny is comfortable and safe in. Hence, she loves the Pearl 360 Pro seat. The post got flooded with negative comments from her followers, who didn’t like the idea of it. One commented, “Personally, I’d research car seat safety better and opt for a Swedish plus tested car seat which offers extending rear facing.
Another follower wrote, “You’ll probably find an average child would exceed weight limits long before it’s safe to forward face. A third one wrote, “You’ll find the safer car seats are actually far better value too!” While one of them suggested, “Amazing to see he’s still rear-facing! I would possibly put the headrest up a notch.” One more joked, “All fun and games using this car seat until your a Nana who can’t turn it round and have to ring your son-in-law to come and help you.”

Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod has hinted at Bethany being at the forefront of one of the soap’s biggest upcoming storylines. After being years away from Weatherfield, she is finally set to make her return. The maker has confirmed Bethany’s return to the cobbles. He added that she will be taking the centre stage. The storyline will involve her ex, Daniel 0sbourne (Rob Mallard).
In a conversation with The Sun, Iain declared, “She’s coming back with this clear romantic purpose in the Daniel story. Then, she will fairly quickly find herself in the midst of this massive story.
