A while ago, Nathan Curtis, who did terrible things to Bethany Platt before, shows up out of nowhere while they’re investigating Lauren Bolton’s murder. And guess what? Coronation Street spoilers say that Bethany spots him during a reconstruction of Lauren’s last moments.
She doesn’t waste a second; she goes right up to him and accuses him of murdering Lauren. In the latest episode, Kit Green arrests Nathan after finding some USB drives hidden in his van. While Nathan is being grilled by Kit and DS Swain, Bethany meets Ellie.
According to Coronation Street spoilers, the young girl spills the beans to Bethany about her scary past with a client who went from being the nicest guy to threatening her. Well, now we know who it is. It is no other than Joel Deering! Reflecting on his character’s actions, actor Calum Lill exclaimed that Joel is representing a guy accused of something he did.
He emphasised how shocked Joel is when evidence links Nathan to Lauren’s death. According to Calum, Joel couldn’t care less about Nathan, and in his mind, he is always right. Coronation Street spoilers suggest that Nathan is a criminal, but Joel sees himself as a misunderstood hero.
