Former Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle (Janice Battersby until 2011) spoke out against a controversial upcoming storyline. The plot involves Toyah Habeeb confessing to burying a stillborn child in a local park two decades ago. The soap star expressed her dismay over revisiting one of the show’s most sensitive stories.
Let us tell you that it all originates from Toyah’s sexual assault in 2001. According to Coronation Street makers, the rape led to a miscarriage and the secret burial of her baby at Red Rec. In the coming times, the past will come to haunt Toyah as the Red Rec might get digged up, uncovering her ‘buried secret.’

The former star added, “I guess we failed. Who knew [that] digging up dead babies would become the highlight of ITV’s tea time slot!!!” However, following a heated response from her Coronation Street on-screen daughter, Vicky quickly issued a heartfelt public apology to Jane Danson. Labeling Jane a ‘wonderful’ actress, she admitted that her comment was ‘childish.’
