Stephanie Davis’ contract is over with Coronation Street. She had wrapped up her last scenes and will leave following a dramatic exit storyline. Davis’ character temptress Courtney Vance will leave after an affair with Aadi Alahan. Davis’ tenure was short, and she was there for the storyline with Aadi. Producers are very happy with her performance. In Wednesday’s episode of Coronation Street, we saw the ending of Aadi- Courtney affair as her ex-husband Darren revealed he was giving Courtney a second chance.
Following the revelation that they had been having a torrid affair, Courtney left her husband for Aadi. This ended Darren’s business partnership with Aadi’s father, Dev. After moving out from a fancy house with Darren to a run-down area flat with Aadi, Coutney’s behaviour caused problems in her relationship with Aadi.
Producer Iain MacLeod confirmed that while supporting Amy Barlow through her trauma, Aadi will realise his feelings for her. The producer stated, “I’ve just watched these scenes, and they are stomach-churningly good & entirely believable. I think Elle Mulvaney and Adam Hussain are fantastically good.” He added that this story was a very important step in the process of getting Aadi and Amy closer. They are going to be a part of a long-term love story, which will keep the Coronation Street fans entertained.
Stephanie Davis shared a glimpse of her big plans after the show. The actress has been recording a new album in the US. Before catching her big break as Sinead on Hollyoaks, the actress had a music background, and she was a part of reality show Over the Rainbow. We wish Stephanie luck with her future projects.
