The reality TV star, formerly Amy Duggar, now King, has a huge fan base. That’s because she has openly spoken against her infamous Duggar family many times. As a result, a lot of people from the reality show fanbase shun the family for being controversial to its very core. So, Amy receives heavy praise for her honest attitude and for telling things as they are. Lately, she opened up about some other toxic instances. Although she didn’t take names, fans believe she was targeting the Duggars from Counting On. Keep reading to know more!
Counting On: Amy’s Cryptic Tweets Are About The Duggars?
It all started when Amy took to her Twitter handle to reveal some things to her followers. She emphasized being “honest” as they “deserve to know the truth”. Even though the former star wanted to bare it all, she couldn’t reveal any names. That’s because she has previously talked about the Non-Disclosure Agreement or NDA she signed. As a result, this stops her from being absolutely candid with her statements. The ex-TLC celebrity heard lies many times. Her first tweet revealed that.
Fans suspect that King was talking about the eldest Duggar sibling, i.e., Josh. He was under arrest this year for possessing and receiving child pornography content. However, this isn’t the first time he got in trouble. In 2015, there were allegations against him for molesting five girls! However, he never served jail time for the alarming case. In her Tweets, Amy said that she was told that her cousin is in “camp” to “help people”. It took no time for her well-wishers to realize that the former star was referring to when Josh Duggar was sent to a Christian Work Camp. This was right after the molestation case came to light.
Amy then talked about how her mother was also kept away from the actual matter. People believe that she is being vocal about past happenings for an important reason. Apparently, Josh Duggar’s court hearing for the child porn case is scheduled for November 30, 2021. He is pleading ‘not guilty’ for his charges.
Counting On: Amy Thanks TLC For Cancelling The Duggar Reality TV Franchise
Following Josh Duggar’s arrest this year, TV network TLC canceled the upcoming seasons of Counting On. The reality show focussed on the lives of all the Duggar siblings. Although the felon never appeared on it, the channel didn’t want to risk it. All other Duggars were mum about this change. Finally, however, the famous Duggar cousin spoke up. She thanked TLC for taking such a major step mentioned she “stands with” the network’s decision.
Owing to her straightforward nature, Amy has never been liked by the rest of the cast members. The new mom has often spoken bluntly about the orthodox mindset and traditionally toxic ways the notorious family functions.
