Gil said, “Don’t be a person who’s gonna sell your family out.” He wants no one to be a reprobate. A reprobate is an unprincipled person, similar to Duggars. Gil Bates further stated that being silent to sin is similar to committing it. Gil then told people not to sell the family and not support or commit sin. Well, it’s only Josh who sold his family out by committing the sin. So who else could Gil be talking about if not Josh and his family?

Counting On: Did Gil Bates Call Josh Dangerous?

Gil Bates clearly does not support people who commit sin. Indeed, he does not support Josh Duggar and his family. Gil explained that the people who commit sin ends up ruining their life, family, kids, and wife. And, those who don’t let the evil go away from them need help from outside. Also, if the person refuses to take help, he will end in jail. Well, Gil’s words were a clear indication towards Josh because he is the one who ended up in jail.

Gil Bates indirectly called Josh a “dangerous person.” He thinks that people who can not prevent themselves from the road of perversion could be a danger to society.
