However, recently, Jill shared snaps from her Christmas break and look all so happy and cheerful.
Jill And Her Family Had A Great Time Around Christmas
Jill Dillard shared a few pictures on her Instagram this Tuesday from her Christmas break. The ‘family of four’ had a great time visiting Derick’s family. Alongside that, Jill and Derick also had a grownups-only weekend in nearby Branson, Missouri. Jill wrote that they had a small Christmas celebration at home. They chose to do it this way . Later, Derick’s family joined them.
Derick and Jill dropped their boys at the former’s place before heading to Branson. And from the pictures, it looks like they had a lovely time, as reported by Dailymail. The little Dillard family did have a good festive time without indulging in the Duggar celebrations.
The Duggars Didn’t Ostracize Jill And Family
Although fans felt that Jill was ‘ostracized’ by the Duggars, it might not be completely true. The pictures shared by Jill show her sons seeing some Duggars over Christmas and then, FaceTiming some of them at the main house on Christmas Day. Interestingly, Jana and Jeremiah dropped by Jill’s place to give gifts to her boys, Isreal and Samuel. This is enough to bust all the speculations that Jill was intentionally held out of the family gathering.
The fans might recall that Jana shared a video from the family’s celebration on Youtube. Seeing it, a fan questioned her about Jill’s absence. They asked that why Duggars ostracize Jill and her family. To this, Jana replied that her sister chose to spend her Christmas away from Duggars. She explained that they celebrated it with Derick’s family.
The veteran fans would know that Jill and Derick have been breaking away from the Duggar family. With this, they’re openly defying Duggar norms and living their lives their way. The Dillard couple continues to speak about their experiences on Youtube and fervently pray that things will get better in the future. Even Jim Bob and Michelle have said that they love Jill and her family and look forward to mending the ‘differences.’
