In the book, the 27 years old opened up about Josh’s molestation scandal. She claims how it has been the ‘worst trial’ of the family history. Well, it seems that history is repeating itself. Jinger Duggar now Vuolo opened up about her brother’s scandal in her new book, The Hope We Hold. As per the police report, Josh, 33, molested five teenagers between 2002 and 2003, back when Josh was around 14 or 15 years old. Josh was also claimed to molest her sisters and a babysitter of the house. Jinger writes in her book, “My brain hadn’t quite caught up to the reality of what had happened in a few short hours.” She went on to explain the scenario of how her father gathered everyone to explain the situation.

Jinger quotes the trail to be the “worst” one of the family. The Sun reports Duggar to have long dealt with the case. However, it was once again brought up to public notice in 2015. Jinger writes, “I felt shell-shocked as if a bomb had exploded, I moved in a daze, living in a nightmare that I wished with all my heart wasn’t real.” Facing the same scenario all over again was not easy for the family to cope up with.

Jinger and Jeremy unveiled that Jim had to stay with one of his friends for two weeks at that time. At the same time, Jeremy postponed his courtship with Jinger.

Jeremy also discussed how he stayed by Ben’s side to help ignore hateful comments. Later, Josh came forward to apologize and confronted all his wrong deeds. He addressed, “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regretted.” Furthermore, Jill and Jessa also came forward as the victim. They claimed to have forgiven Josh for his misdeeds.

Josh has once again brought disrespect to the family. He is arrested in Arkansas on the charge of receipt and possession of material related to child abuse. Even though Josh claims not guilty, the judgment is still due to decide what’s true and what’s not. He will remain in jail until the hearing on Wednesday. Jinger shared to have been disturbed ever since knowing about Josh’s arrest. The star also shared about Josh’s arrest on her Instagram. Jinger wants the case to follow the legal procedure and bring the truth out on the floor. She quotes, “…we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse and fully support the authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice.”

The government requests the 33-year-old to remain behind bars. Well, the trial will decide whether he release on bail or not. Even if released, he is not allowed to remain anywhere around the minors.
