Counting On: Premiere Disappoint Fans, Duggars Talk About Religion, Faith, And Baby; But Why Not About Marriage?

TLC

Fans recently got more Duggar details in the previous episode of Counting On. Everyone was eyeing to have clearance on who is marrying and who not. However, the new episode failed to provide all that. Well, the new special gave a glimpse of Duggar’s family values. It could somehow link why they are hiding their children’s marriages.

Counting On: Duggars Sat Down To Talk About Their Deep Faith In Special

In the recently released special episode of Counting On, Duggars opened about their religious life. Duggars let the fan know every detail about how they celebrate Easter. Well, this was not the first time when Duggars opened about their religious celebration. There have been various other episodes where they talked about the same. Showbiz Cheatsheet reports the Duggars to be devout independent Baptist. Jim Bob and Michelle, along with their children, sat down to have a talk about how their lives have been affected by Jesus. Each one shares their own experience. Adding to that, Jim talked about how he started feeling close to Jesus at the age of seven. Ever since then, the family has been blessed and cared for by Jesus.

Duggars celebrated Easter a bit early because of the presence of Kendra and Joe’s newborn baby. A few of the clips also involved kids making bonnets and dyeing eggs. It was fun to see happiness and enthusiasm all around.

Counting On: The Special Followed The Birth And Struggle

The new premiere of Counting On showed the struggle of Kendra. She had to follow new protocols when she was admitted to the hospital during labor. Many people were not allowed to be there in the hospital due to COVID 19 protocols. Therefore, only Joe and her mom were there. While, Jim and Michelle, along with other members of the family, were filled with happiness to see their 20th grandchild.

The premiere on one side brought happiness, and on another side, a few discussed their struggling period of life. Not everyone in the Duggar family is as strong as Jim and Michelle to follow their Christain believes. Some faced struggles while doing so. Jessa addressed that she and Jana had a lot of fights. Michelle also shared her experience when Jinger was not ready to be sorry to a sibling. Similarly, everyone came forward to talk about all that they could. Although fans expected some talks about marriage. However, that didn’t happen.

Counting On

Meanwhile, the Duggar family was not complete in the special. There were several ones who were missing out. The Easter gathering did not have Jinger, Jeremy, Lauren, Josiah, Justin, and Claire. Also, Duggars did not even open about the weddings. So, will there be more season ahead for the family to feature all that’s happening? Fans need to wait for that to happen, as TLC has not renewed Counting On for the next season yet. Will it be renewed? What do you think? Let us know your views in the comment section.
