Dangerously Obese is planning another season since casting couches are ready to audition people with morbid obesity. The casting call has sparked a craze among the series’ fandom, who watched Season 1 with the utmost attentiveness. Dr. Charles Procter, the primary doctor, aka the bariatric surgeon, is credited with transforming the lives of his eight patients.
Natalie and her mom, Felicia, were on the verge of dying because they lived in obesity. The daughter, weighing over 600 Lbs, was at risk as much as her mom. Bryan, with lymphedema in his left leg, reported 597 Lbs while Keith scaled 711.8 Lbs with a congestive heart failure diagnosis. They followed other patients named Molly, Ty, Crystal, Niki, and Yolanda. When is the casting call for the new season all about?

Dangerously Obese ended on both a positive and a tragic note in its finale episode, which aired on December 17, 2025. The episode titled “Where Are They Now?” showed what all the reality stars are upto post-surgery. The focus has been on their active lifestyle and the transformation they are leading for maintaining their new physique.
The first season was certainly an emotional rollercoaster for all the patients under Dr. Charles’s care. Their backstories would make anyone flinch, but in the end, they all thrive in their weight-loss journey. After surgery boosted her confidence, Crystal came out to her family about being a lesbian. Bryan and his wife, on the other hand, moved freely after surgery; Ty losing weight lifted his spirits; and Yolanda overcame feederism.
Yet for another time, TLC’s Dangerously Obese would hit the screens to show how they transform as many lives as they could. The casting agency Aberrant Creative is seeking qualified patients for bariatric surgery to improve their health and live longer. They posted on their official Instagram page about the casting call, asking for candidates weighing 500 Lbs or beyond.
The Instagram post was reposted on a subreddit thread dedicated to 1000 Lb Sisters to discuss the “Now casting” announcement from TLC producers. Aberrant Creative is a production and casting house for the 1000 Lb series and other projects. Hence, they are once again seeking the best cast members for the upcoming season of the weight loss series.
TLC wanted people who would be interested in taking up surgery in their health journey, unlike the natural ways. They would only consider them. They are ready to hear real stories from them to give them hope as they progress with the help of celebrated doctor and surgeon Dr. Charles.
Dr. Charles is a star of Too Large, but due to the pandemic, it went on hiatus and rebranded as Dangerously Obese. Anyway, TLC wanted candidates to inspire others to join them in losing weight. They asked to contact them through the agency website for more information. For more Dangerously Obese updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
