Viewers know that Days of Our Lives is on a break because of the Winter Olympics right now, but there’ll be a lot of drama when it resumes. DOOL will resume on Monday, February 21, 2022. There will be a lot of interesting storylines and surprises taking place, which will include many fan-favorite characters coming back to Salem.
Days Of Our Lives has been releasing short preview clips to keep their fans happy to rile the excitement. In the preview videos, we are watching several familiar faces popping up on our screens. It has been a long time since we saw our favorite characters and actors on the soap, let’s see who all will be coming back once the show returns-
Will Horton And Sonny Kiriakis
DOOL Viewers saw Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) returning back to Salem to their friend, Chad. In the preview video, they surprise Chad, and the trio plans a takedown session of Leo Stark. The last time we saw Will and Sonny was around the time of the Christmas celebration in Salem.
Days Of Our Lives: Jack Deveraux
The New Year began with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) leaving Salem and Jennifer to help her redesign a small Boston newspaper. However, Jack will come back to quickly detour to help Chad (Billy Flynn) find the missing Abigail (Mercy Miller).
In the latest preview video, Jack informs Xander (Paul Telfer) that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) didn’t leave him. But it was Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in a Sarah mask. Then, Xander rushes to meet Sarah and finds Sarah outside the Salem Inn.
Clyde Weston
Another face that we will get to see will be Clyde Weston. He will cross paths with EJ and it won’t be good. When EJ arrives at Statesville, he realizes that his prison mate is none other than Clyde (James Read).
DOOL viewers that Clyde and EJ are not really friends and the reason behind that is Clyde being responsible for EJ’s alleged death some years ago. When these two meet in prison, it will definitely build more drama and action.
Days Of Our Lives: Leo Stark
As per Days Of Our Lives spoilers, Greg Rikaart will reprise his role as Leo Stark in the upcoming days. The motive behind Leo’s return has been kept a secret. There’s speculation that Craig’s (Kevin Spirtas) new mystery man that he’s in love with is none other than Leo Stark. Days fans know that it’s never good news whenever Leo pops up in Salem. However, Leo does know how to bring drama and entertainment.
Donielle Artese
TV Season & Spoilers previously reported that DOOL is bringing in some actors and characters when it resumes. As per the spoilers, actress Donielle Artese is joining the cast of the NBC soap. Viewers will see her playing the role of TR Coates’ ex-girlfriend. Artese confirmed the news on Instagram and seemed very excited about it all. However, her character name has not been revealed yet, but she will definitely create problems for Paulina, TR, and Lani.
Days Of Our Lives: Sarah Horton
In addition, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will also be coming back to the show. Right now, Kristen is holding Sarah hostage along with some other DOOL characters. However, she will return now.
We don’t know who will facilitate this return. But Days of Our Lives preview video reveals Sarah will return and cross paths with Xander outside the Salem Inn. However, new twists will come up there.
Jennifer Deveraux
DOOL viewers will be excited to see that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) is coming to Salem. She is all set to come back as Jennifer Deveraux soon. Reeves confirmed her return to the soap at a fan event. The last time she appeared on the show was for a Christmas episode. But, she’s already to resume her role when DOOL comes back after the Winter Olympics.
Days Of Our Lives: Sami Brady
Speaking of drama, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will return soon. A fun little preview video sees Sami getting a steamy kiss from both her love interests, i.e., EJ and Lucas. The clip also revealed that there could be a love triangle coming up on the Days Of Our Lives.
As of now, Sami is off the canvas and building a life with Lucas. Sami has no idea that Lucas was the one who was kidnapped, and Lucas has been trying to frame EJ for Sami’s kidnapping. So, when the truth comes out, things might change for all three of them.
