It looks like a known character will pop up in Days of Our Lives soon. Actor Kyle Lowder recently hinted that he might be coming back to DOOL. The actor who portrays Rex Brady on the soap posted a story on his Instagram handle this July 21, 2021. The story had a picture of him that shouted that he was coming back to Days of Our Lives.
At least, that is what many fans have interpreted. The story had a picture of Kyle in what looks like the NBC soap’s hair and makeup room. In addition, he captioned the picture with “Back to Work.” This does felt like he is hinting that he will be back in the soap opera.
The last time viewers got to see Rex was in the spring of 2021, when Kristen seduced Rex. Back then, Kristen was wearing Sarah’s mask and did that to break Sarah’s marriage. Sarah had come to know that Kristen had been roaming around the town as Susan and the real Susan was in prison instead.
So, to keep the truth hidden, Kristen decided to kidnap Sarah. She then wore a Sarah mask and planned to seduce Rex. She had hoped that Xander, Sarah’s fiancée, would catch her in bed with Rex and break up. After this, Sarah faced Kristen and broke up with Rex. Kristen then sent the real Sarah to DiMera Island.
Now, if Rex is coming back, his storyline will undoubtedly be connected to that of Sarah’s disappearance. It is possible that he might have come to know about the whole thing would be coming back to find Sarah. Alternatively, it is also possible that he might have come to know about Sarah’s whereabouts and chose to keep them to himself, hoping that would keep Sarah to him.
However, that move will blow up in his face because Xander is growing closer to Gwen. Whatever the storyline might be, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Rex might be coming back.
