It looks like she will figure out that there is something wrong with Sarah, and she might come to Salem looking for her. After all, Kristen drugging Sarah and sending her off to a deserted island does not seem a strong exit storyline.
It does not look realistic that Maggie would go months without speaking to her daughter and not sense a red flag. Both of them have a rather closer relationship. So, Maggie will soon come to know that something is wrong. Her suspicion will be confirmed if she speaks to Rex Brady, who will ensure that Sarah isn’t with him.
