Days of Our Lives is becoming more and more intense with every passing episode. The dynamics are forever shifting, and the relationships are falling apart and coming together at the speed of light! Previously, it started to feel that Gwen’s long-time dream of being with Xander was finally coming to fruition. When Sarah and Xander’s marriage fell apart, Gwen swept in with the hopes of making space in his life and heart for good. At first, it did look like they were getting somewhere, but Xander has now taken a 180 on it and wants Sarah back. Will Gwen let him slip away so easily? Or are we about to see some baby drama to reel him right back in?
Xander Leaves Gwen For Sarah
Xander and Sarah have gone through many ups and down on Days of Our Lives, but they always fought to remain afloat. However, this time around, Sarah felt like she had had enough and wanted to put an end to their pattern. She asked Xander for a divorce, and the paperwork was drawn up for the dissolution of their marriage. Although, it seems fate had different plans for them, as their paperwork had some glitch and put a wrinkle in the divorce proceedings. This gave Xander a chance to reflect and he decided that he wanted to give his marriage with Sarah another chance.
Sarah, however, has her mind made up and wants to move on from him on Days of Our Lives. She is so adamant about it, that she hasn’t even told him yet that she is pregnant with his baby. Perhaps she fears that if he finds out, he would never divorce her. Well, she might be right about that because, baby or no baby, Xander already is having second thoughts about their divorce. Should he choose to try and win back Sarah, what would that mean for him and Gwen? Will he pull the plug on Gwen’s dreams of having a happily ever after with him? That seems very likely at this point as he has started to feel that things won’t work out between him and Gwen. Moreover, it is still Sarah, who he wants to be with!
Gwen Uses Her Pregnancy To Win Xander Back On Days of Our Lives
If Xander makes up his mind that he wants to give his marriage with Sarah another chance, he will make every effort possible to win back her affection on Days of Our Lives. In the process, he might find out that she is pregnant. After all, how long can Sarah hide a pregnancy? Once he finds out, he will definitely push the brakes on whatever it is that he has with Gwen. Of course, she will be terribly shattered by his decision. This would probably lead her to make some reckless moves, like a rebound hook-up, perhaps? And for some odd reason, Alex Kiriakis always ends up becoming the top choice for hookups in Salem! Remember, Allie, and he hit the sheets, right after she felt betrayed by Chanel!
So it’s completely plausible that a few steamy scenes between Alex and Gwen await us ahead on Days of Our Lives. But our spidey senses tell us that this hookup could end up becoming far more significant that just rebound sex! What if Gwen becomes pregnant? Now we are not saying that she would intentionally sleep with Alex just to get pregnant and pass off the baby as Xander’s, but the ball could easily roll that way if she does get pregnant! Gwen is well known for her manipulative tactics! So it won’t really be that hard for her to fudge a paternity test that proves Xander is her baby daddy!
