The gorgeous actress has played the central character of Gabi on the soap for a long time, and successfully so. Thus, this news came as a huge shocker to Days of Our Lives fans. However, Camila has justified her decision to leave by citing personal reasons and the fact that the makers couldn’t accommodate her preferred shooting schedule.

In a recent chat with Soaps.com, head writer Ron Carlivati shed some light on Gabi’s exit track. The tale spinner pointed out that it is after ages that Stefan and Gabi have landed on the same page at the same time. Thus, the two of them finally have a real chance to solidify their bond and the ground they thrive on!
Gabi And Stefan Face Off against Nicole And EJ On Days of Our Lives
Ron teased that Gabi and Stefan will now consolidate their power base and use it against their rival power couple, EJ and Nicole, at DiMera Enterprise. The current storyline has put the four of them on a collision track with each other on Days of Our Lives. Ron hints that Gabi will not exit on a sweet note by burying the hatchet with Nicole and EJ over a double date. No sir! The sexy vixen will go all out in trying to rise head and shoulder above the rival couple.
Nicole has come a long way on Days of Our Lives and has softened over time. However, her vindictive and scheming side is definitely not dead, Ron asserts. Gabi’s next moves will push Nicole to spring out her claws, and the two women will go at each other throats.
