There was a lot of uncertainty surrounding Kate’s fate on Days of Our Lives. For a little while there it felt like Bo really did shoot her dead on Marlena’s orders. However, we did have a shred of hope stemming from the fact that if the writers wanted her dead, they would’ve never brought her back from Purgatory. Thus, we knew Kate would eventually turn up alive somewhere. Although we have to admit we didn’t think we would see her chopping fish on a boat! So Days of Our Lives at least caught us by surprise there!
But her appearance on a fishing boat raises the question of why exactly she would be there on Days of Our Lives. And the only logical explanation for that is that she is being held captive! The latest spoilers tease that the person responsible for her kidnapping is someone from the past! But that’s not enough to go on. After all, DOOL has an endless pool of past and present villains! However, there are also spoilers that tease the return of a DiMera, who will also create some major family drama! For some reason, that sounds a lot like Andre DiMera!
Is Andre DiMera Alive and Keeping Kate Hostage On Days of Our Lives?
Yes, we know, Andre is dead on Days of Our Lives. But so were Kate, Marlena, and Kayla. And of course, the man of the hour, Bo Brady! Coming back from the dead seems to be the theme of the season! So why not bring back another blast from the past? Moreover, Andre DiMera was portrayed by actor Thaao Penghlis. He still portrays Andre’s look-alike half-brother, only DiMera. So it would be so easy for Thaao to switch his Andre DiMera mode on!
If Days of Our Lives decides to flow in that direction, it would be thrilling to find out what Andre wants from Kate. Moreover, where had he been all this while? Is he interested in getting Kate back in his life, or is she holding her hostage as leverage over someone else?
