There is a saying that every person gets their own personal version of hell if hell is what they get in the afterlife. Days of Our Lives revealed in the previous episodes that Kate has woken up in Purgatory in her afterlife. What was more interesting was that she was welcomed into it by none other than Jordan Ridgway! Jeez, that’s certainly going to burn! (Pun very much intended!) The latest spoilers of the Peacock sudser tease that Kate will be stuck in Purgatory for a while! However, she will eventually be able to make a deal. What could that be? Dig in to find out!
What Does Jordan Has Against Kate?
Days of Our Lives spoilers have suggested that Kate, Kayla, and Marlena’s deaths are temporary, and the ladies will eventually find their way back to the land of the living. That means there is a lot that will go down in their afterlife. But why is Kate facing Jordan in Purgatory? Long-time viewers know that the two have a history! But in case you have forgotten, allow us to give you a refresher! When Jordan first entered Days of Our Lives, she was a Physical Therapist. Kate had hired her to nurse Rafe after he had sustained an injury.
However, Kate soon became uncomfortable with Jordan’s growing closeness with Rafe on Days of Our Lives. In an attempt to know more about the very secretive Jordan. she started to dig up her past! Eventually, Kate uncovered the fact that Jordan was actually on the run from Clyde Weston. He was Jordan’s abusive stepfather and a rapist. Kate’s investigation showed Clyde the route to Salem, and all hell broke loose after that. Many lives were thrown off balance because of the wretched man who now rots in prison.
Kate Cuts A Deal On Days Of Our Lives
Now that we have established the connection between Jordan and Kate on Days of Our Lives let’s get to what Jordan may want from Kate. We know that the only thing that could get Kate out of Purgatory and back to the land of the living is a deal! And since Jordan is the one welcoming Kate to the fireland, we can assume the deal-making will go down between the two of them. But what could Jordan want from Kate? Perhaps Jordan feels she has unfinished business left on earth, and may want Kate to do it for her.
Yes, Clyde is rotting in prison on Days of Our Lives. But is that enough punishment for someone as horrendous as him? Jordan certainly wouldn’t answer in the affirmative! She may feel like she still has to avenge all that he put her through while she was still alive! And since Kate stirred the pot that led him to Salem, Jordan may feel Kate should now do the needful. She may propose that if Kate wants to have more years on earth, she will have to eliminate Clyde so he could swap places with her in Purgatory.
