Days of Our Lives has some of the most complicated love stories that television has to offer. There is certainly no denying that! And when we talk about complex relationships, Sarah and Xander pretty much take the cake, baker, and bakery! The two of them have been through too many rough patches to count and yet kept trying to find better footing until they just couldn’t anymore. On the other hand, Sarah portrayer, Linsey Godfrey’s personal life, is thankfully a lot less complicated! In fact, the Days of Our Lives star has just welcomed an adorable new member in her family alongside her partner, Scott Christopher Grimes. Lisey took to her official Instagram account to share the big happy news with the world. “Please welcome our newest addition to the family, sweet Evie!” she wrote in the caption of her post. Are we allowed to say we have fallen in love at first sight? Because we truly have! Evelyn Beatrice Godfrey is just adorable!
The Days of Our Lives actress’s carousel post contains four pictures and one video of her new furry little pooch. In the first pic, Linsey and Scott are sprawled on the couch as Evie takes a nap. The second snapshot is a close up of the black-furred cutie, staring into the camera with her big doe eyes. Followed by a few more snaps and videos of her roaming around the house. Linsey’s Days of Our Lives co-star, Eric Martsolf (Brady), admired the little pup and wrote, “Well, she’s adorable,” in the comments. Her fans were too far behind in resonating with Eric’s sentiments. It looks like Evie won everybody’s hearts in just one blink!
It’s so heartening to see Evie lounging around Linsey’s home and heart like that! The Days of Our Lives star tagged the Ace Of Hearts Dog Rescue in her post. So it seems the actress chose to adopt a rescue than buy one from a pet store, and that just won our hearts! The little bundle of joy must’ve certainly catapulted Linsey’s happiness to another level all together. We hope her on-screen counterpart, Sarah, too, finds a new reason to be happy on the soap!
