Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 5, 2022, relayed the story of Alex and his new lover, Lisa. Maggie caught them in bed and was surprised to see he had a new lover this quick. Alex did not remember Lisa’s name, but she happily shared her number with her after their night together. Magie was shocked to see this.
Meanwhile, Xander and Sarah decide to break into Gwen’s room to find evidence against her. They found a Sarah mask in a suitcase in her room but had to hide in the bathroom when Gwen arrived. Gwen saw the mask and disposed of it, Xander and Sarah tried to find it, but they could not. In the meantime, Chanel overheard Johnny trying to convince Paulina to plan Allie and Chanel’s breakup. Of course, Chanel was furious and confronted them.
Maggie Caught Alex In The Act
In this Days of Our Lives episode, we saw Maggie catch Alex and another woman in the act. She was surprised that Alex had found a new partner so soon. Alex told her he was social, so it was not so tough. He introduced Maggie to Laura, who had to correct him and tell them her name was Lisa.
Later, Alex got dressed, and Lisa gave him her number. Maggie was intrigued at how she was still interested in him. Later on, things started to get tense when Victor accused Alex of going after Sonny Kiriakis’ job. Alex promised that he only wanted to help his baby brother. Victor rewarded Alex by offering him a job and telling him he could only report to him.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Xander And Sarah Will Frame Gwen
On the other end of the town, Xander and Sarah decided that if they had any possibility of exonerating Sarah of the murder charge against her, they would have to find the reason murderer. In this episode of Days of Our Lives, they decided to look into the matter. After careful thinking, they figured out that the person who might have done all of this could be Gwen. The couple obtained proof after breaking into Gwen’s motel room. They found a Sarah mask that Gwen could have worn on the night of Abigail DiMera’s death.
The mask was kept in a suitcase in her room. Moreover, Gwen arrived at her room, and the couple had to hide in the bathroom. Gwen got hold of the mask when they were hiding and decided to get rid of the evidence. Of course, Xander and Sarah decided to go dumpster diving now. They could not find the mask and had to clean it up. Now they had to make sure they could prove Gwen’s escape from prison.
Chanel Confronts Paulina
Meanwhile, Johnny was still recovering from Chanel’s rejection in another part of town. He wanted Paulina’s help to win her back. They would have to make Allie look bad by suggesting she had betrayed Chanel. Unfortunately, Chanel overheard the entire conversation and confronted them for trying to ruin her relationship.
Chanel told them she hated them both and left. Paulina chased her, and Chanel accused her of being on Johnny’s side because he was a boy. Paulina admitted she wanted her daughter to have a family and stable life. However, this made Chanel very furious and told Paulina her idea of a relationship was outdated, and she could always be happy and have a family with Allie. After their conversation, Paulina clarified to Johnny that she was not interested in his plan. Days of Our Lives airs on weekdays on NBC.
