Days Of Our Lives recap for July 20, 2022, reveals a brand new person of interest in the murder investigation of Abigail DiMera. First, in this episode, we saw Kate’s confession about knowing Lucas’ true nature to Allie. Allie is horrified to hear this and decides to exclude her grandmother from her life.
Meanwhile, things heat up after Jada Hunter reveals that Sarah was present at the mansion on the night of the murder. Sarah explains her reasons to the police and promises to cooperate for the rest of the investigation. In another part of town, Lucas remembers his story from the night of the murder.
Allie Is Upset With Kate
In this episode of Days of Our Lives, we saw Allie’s reaction to her grandmother. At first, she was happy to meet her but later, she was terrified to see her. Kate admitted that she knew Lucas was Sami Brady’s kidnapper. Allie was petrified to hear this. In her anger, she declared her grandmother out of bounds from her life and family. Marlena is not very happy with Kate either but she assured her that Allie would understand in some time.
Meanwhile, Chad continued to mourn the loss of his wife Abigail DiMera. Sonny Kiriakis was there for his buddy and offered a shoulder for him to cry on. On the other hand, Johnny DiMera is getting impatient. He can’t wait for Chanel to make up her mind and choose between him and his sister. Will she be ready to marry him again? Although Chanel rejected his proposal but thanked him for the proposal. A jealous Allie watched them as Chanel kissed Johnny.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: Jada Hunter Reveals Sarah’s Secret
In another part of town, we saw Jada Hunter reveal an eyewitness that had put Sarah in the DiMera mansion on the awful night of Abigail DiMera’s murder. Sarah confessed that she had gone there to talk to Abigail about her own experience with drug abuse. She added that it was Marlena who had suggested she pay Abigail a visit on the night of the murder.
Later, Sarah announced that she is canceling her wedding with Xander because of this whole case. She had decided to cooperate with the cops in the investigation. In this episode of Days of our Lives, we also saw her talk to Xander Kiriakis alone. Sarah confesses to him that there are parts of the night that she does not remember clearly.
Lucas Recalls The Night
Meanwhile, in the interrogation room in Salem’s PD, more of Lucas’ memories resurfaced in this episode of Days of Our Lives. In his memories, he saw Sarah rushing out but pausing to pick up something she had dropped. He remembered seeing her pick up the object she had dropped.
Of course, he couldn’t recall the object he saw her drop. Later that night, Lucas recollected that he had left the mansion and headed to the hotel suite. After this intense session with Rafe, Lucas was relieved to know he was not Abigail DiMera, his niece’s murderer.
