Days of Our Lives recap for July 27, 2022, relays the incident that took Jake DiMera’s life. After being shot, he was rushed to the hospital, where Dr. Kayla declared him dead. Meanwhile, Jada’s timely arrival at the spot led to the gunman’s takedown – she shot him after he threatened to kill Ava as well. Rafe informed Nicole and Eric about what happened. Eric found Jada and comforted her after the harrowing incident. In another part of town, Orpheus manipulated Steve after he warned him and asked him to leave Salem.
Jake Is Dead, Jada Takes Down The Gunman
In this episode of Days of Our Lives, we saw Rafe and Jada arrive at Jake DiMera’s shooting scene. The gunman suggested that he would shoot Ava and join the lucky couple, but Jada interrupted in time and shot him. No fuss was made, and no effort was made to shut him down without violence.
Despite Jada’s efforts to help Salem members, she could not rescue Jake in time. He was taken to the hospital as soon as possible, but Dr. Kayla Brady Johnson declared him dead on arrival. Ava, his new fiance, was shattered after hearing the news. Rafe found Nicole and Eric in this episode of Days of Our Lives. He told them everything that went down and how Jada took the gunman down. Rafe admitted that Jake had been shot. Furthermore, he also apologized to Eric for being rude to him earlier.
Later, Eric found Jada and learned that she was having a tough time dealing with the aftermath of the shooting. She did what she had to, but she felt awful for taking the gunman’s life. Eric reassured her that what she did was best for the city’s people and that she should be proud of herself.
Days of Our Lives: Steve Has Big Plans
Meanwhile, at the pub, Steve wanted to ensure that Justin Kirakis would not change his intentions of taking revenge on Orpheus. Justin made it very clear that he hated Orpheus for what he did to Adrienne. However, he was not obsessed with killing him because Orpheus was already dead to him.
After Justin’s meltdown, Steve spoke to Orpheus and asked him to leave Salem. It was time for him to make a fresh start away from the town. Orpheus was considering Seatle as an option, and it was also the city where Steve’s children lived. Steve was scared that Orpheus was making a threat and warned him to stay away from his kids. Orpheus smiled and told him that he would have to stay in Salem to do that.
Meanwhile, at the Kiriakis mansion, Alex informed Sonny about his fights with the twins in Phoenix. He wanted a break because he was tired of them having an issue with everything he did. Later, Bonnie arrived, and Alex introduced himself. He pretended to be the necktie killer and scared her. Alex has just come to Salem and he sure will send ripples through the down.
