In this episode of Days of Our Lives, we saw Chanel Dupree make her final decision. She wants to spend the rest of her life with Allie Horton. Johnny DiMera was not very happy to hear he was let go for a woman who played games with Chanel.
In her defense, Chanel reminded Johnny that she had known Allie for longer. Moreover, despite their feelings for each other, they had never been able to be together before. Johnny accepted this decision reluctantly and hugged Allie. They felt bad for Johnny but could not wait to be with each other. Allie and Chanel shared a passionate kiss and spent some quality time alone.

Meanwhile, Roman Brady met Abe Carver at the pub. He shared updates about his decision to break up with Kate Roberts. The kidnapping incident was too much for him to accept. Kate shared her secret with Paulina – she said it was her fault to hide Lucas’ big secret.
Paulina listened to Kate and reminded her that she had also made mistakes. Abe had forgiven her for her mistakes. Likewise, if she fights hard enough, Roman could also forgive her. Right then, Johnny showed up at the pub, looking morose. Paulina knew that he was the loser of the love triangle. She was counting on Chanel choosing Johnny. Gabi Strikes A Deal With Ava
Elsewhere, Gabi Hernandez DiMera is worried about her throne at DiMera Enterprises. Previously, she accused Ava of marrying Jake earlier in the morning. Ava felt Gabi was insensitive because Jake’s dead body lay right in front of them. Gabi tried to manipulate Ava emotionally and told her that Jake would have wanted her to be happy.
In this episode of Days of Our Lives, Gabi convinced Ava to team up with her so that they could take down EJ. This deal would benefit both of them as Jake’s shares would be Ava’s, and EJ will also get no control of the company. Ava said she wanted to sleep on this decision, but Gabi wanted an immediate answer.
