Given how things are moving in Days of Our Lives, all fans (including us) cannot help but think if Eli Grant might be leaving the soap opera? In the recent episode, TR shot Eli in the head, and Eli has been in hospital ever since. He is in a complicated situation where it might be difficult for the soap to save him. So, is it time for goodbye??
Eli’s wife, Lani, and everybody in his family are extremely worried about Eli and if he would survive or not. The odds are, the actor might either end up in a coma or death. Right now, Eli’s portrayer- Lamon Archey, is busy with some other projects. And hence sending the character in a coma would give Lamon the time to complete all of those projects.
With that said, Lamon is on Days of Our Lives on the recurring status and feels the need to pursue other roles. So, there is a chance that he might exit down the line. Right now, the actor hasn’t hinted at anything of that sort (thankfully!). In fact, recently, Archey took onto his social media and made a tweet.
He shared the preview video where Eli is getting shot. He captioned the tweet with “SHOT IN THE HEAD!?! #Days. While the actor made this tweet, he did not hint anything about leaving. So, it is likely that he will stick around. But he might end up in a coma or something like that.
