TR And Eli’s Fight
For starters, Days Of Our Lives viewers know that Eli was trying to arrest TR for smuggling a heroin bag. But TR resisted and took away Eli’s gun. Viewers saw TR shooting Eli in the head. However, he framed someone else for this shootout.
After a while, Lani met with Beth at the police station, where she got the news of shots being fired. So, Lani also rushed to the crime scene with Shawn Brady and found Eli with a gunshot wound on the floor. Lani then checked for a pulse but was not able to find one. So, she started giving CPR to her husband, and then Eli was taken to the emergency room.

Viewers know that Eli had surgery after he was shot. But he was unable to recall that TR had shot him. Grant even tried warning his wife and Valerie Grant about it, but he was not able to speak properly. Sadly, Eli then suffered a subdural hemorrhage that sent him into a coma. It will be very hard for Eli to remember anything as he has gone through a lot lately.
The speculation is that Eli will wake up. But there is a possibility that he might not remember anything about that night. There are chances that DOOL might want to drag this storyline a bit more, so Eli might not be able to recall anything about who shot him.
