Ever since TR Coates came to Salem, DOOL viewers have come to know all the bad things TR had done. Not only was he abusive to Lani’s mother, Paulina but he was also abusive to his other ex-girlfriend Beth. To top it all off, he was smuggling drugs. He ended up shooting Eli in this whole situation which almost caused Lani and her family.
There is a long list of things that TR Coates has done. To be fair, he could have stopped at any point and owned up to everything. However, he didn’t. And now, he is getting what he deserves. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that now that Eli has woken up, he will soon remember everything and tell Lani that the one who shot him was none other than her father.
While Lani was changing her mind about her bio-dad when she came to know that she would take matters into her own hands. She vowed to protect all of her family, including Paulina Price. In the recent episode, Lani gets a little hint that her mother might be in danger.
To make sure she is safe, she heads to see her and finds a rather horrific scene. She sees Abe Carver, the man she called her father for all these years, lying on the floor bleeding. Then, TR is all ready with a bat to smack Paulina too. Seeing all of this, Lani gets in her cop mode and shoots TR.
