The show ran from 2020 TO 2024, and Deon and the family members earned quite well. The host asks whether it was $8,000 per episode. Deon says it was way higher than that. It turns out the Derricos earned $25,000 per episode, which is a substantial amount.

However, Deon mentions that even though it seems like a lot of money, it isn’t so. The Derricos are a big family, and that amount was not enough for the entire family. Moreover, they had to pay GG and Erik out of pocket, as TLC didn’t include them in the contract. Furthermore, Deon says he is frustrated that the Derricos couldn’t leverage their reality TV fame for additional collaborations, as it was not in the contract.

Deon took to Instagram to post a tease for a possible new season. The Doubling Down With The Derricos star posted a video that included all his children. The caption read, “Imagine Talking Ish, and you don’t know who’s behind me, or what’s on my hip.” The caption also urged fans to stay tuned for their ALL-NEW SHOW, which will air in 2026, Season 6.

In the video post, Deon stands and says, “Imagine talking Ish, and you don’t know who’s behind me.” As the camera moves past him, his children are all lined up in a straight line behind him. He says, “I got em behind me boy,” over and over again as the camera moves down to the line to his youngest child. The children are all dressed in T-shirts of varying colours, each with the show’s name.

Deon’s new post offers hope to fans. He has teased a new show with a new network for some time now. This post proposes a new show rather than a continuation of the TLS show.
