He has been serving more than 12 years in prison for the CSAM case. But his siblings have moved on, and they are leading happy lives. While most Duggar kids are public about their everyday lives, there are some that fans rarely hear anything about.
For instance, Jana Duggar often avoids social media. Fans rarely spot her in family photos, so viewers have no idea what she has been up to. She is one of the few elder siblings who has not yet tied the knot. Her absence led to a conversation on Reddit, and fans reached this conclusion.

It called out their Christian fundamentalist lifestyle and equated it to a cult. Hence, they no longer garner the kind of love and appreciation they used to.
Some of Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids have also spoken up about this, such as Jill and Jinger. But there are still many kids who have chosen to stick by their parents’ ideals. One of them is Jana Duggar. She is not even on social media, and fans catch a glimpse of her on family outings. Fans find it strange that she is in her 30s and decided not to marry.
Many Duggar News followers find it ironic as many kids from the family would begin to court after turning 16. So, there is a buzz on the internet saying Jana might be going through the ‘Elder Daughter Syndrome.’ As per TVShowAce, it is an “intense feeling of responsibility” towards younger siblings, so much so that one ends up giving up on having a life of their own.
A person with Eldest Daughter Syndrome feels that they are capable of taking care of their own siblings but incapable of having and looking after biological children. As Jana is 34 and has not yet found someone for her, it makes fans feel she definitely has the symptoms of this syndrome. But it is merely speculation, and there is no confirmation of this news.

As viewers got familiar with the Duggar family. Jim Bob and Michelle had many rules. They were okay with their kids moving out of their compound after hitting 18. While many of them have done so, some have decided to save up instead, including Jana. In an interview from 2019, she admitted to still bunking with her sisters.
While Jana is the eldest sibling and could have moved into a separate room but decided against it. She was happy bunking with her siblings in the girls’ room. But another update said she did eventually move out. However, the former Duggar cast member decided to stay within the family compound and moved into a separate house for some privacy.
