EastEnders has just thrown a familiar face to shake things up in the ongoing George Knight saga. Care to guess? We’re talking about Neil Roberts, who joined the Walford lot by playing barrister Warren Finn in the BBC One soap. In the upcoming court trial, his character represents George’s father, Eddie Knight. Albert Square’s wicked character is facing charges for the age-old murder of George’s biological father, Henry. So, are you all excited for Neil’s cameo?

The murder saga has been tough for George as Eddie tries every possible way to preserve his skin on EastEnders. He even tried to manipulate George into giving him a good character reference in exchange for his real mum’s information. However, George has stood his ground. He seeks vengeance and has been itching to see Eddie locked up for ages. So, that’s where Neil’s character Warren comes into the picture.

Moreover, Warren might not be George’s favourite guy on EastEnders, being the defence lawyer and all. We also don’t know much about Warren’s personality at the moment, but he’s sure to spice things up. Anyway, Neil Roberts is no rookie when it comes to soap operas. The seasoned actor is quite popular with his roles in Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, and Coronation Street.

The new EastEnders face has even taken on multiple roles and engaged in some daytime soap action on Doctors. Additionally, Roberts has also made it big in Tinseltown, starring in shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, Babylon 5, and Charmed. The actor even played a part in the Nick Fury TV movie back in 1998. Recently, Neil juggled espionage and comedy with the popular detective drama Endeavour and the ABC comedy-drama Whiskey Cavalier.
