It is barely five days to EastEnders Christmas Special episode. The one hour long episode is set to air on BBC One on December 25, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. Honestly, considering the hype and anticipation that the soap has managed to build for it’s mystery murder story, a five day wait seems like a five year stretch. However, in a recent media interaction, soap boss Chris Clenshaw dropped a major hint that pretty much seals Stacey Slater as the killer this Christmas!
During the interactions, Chris shared that when the story and trailers were being strategized. They has initially decided to dress “The Six” ladies in different shades of red. Keeping the Christmas and the murder theme in mind. However, he stated that for some reason that didn’t work out. Thus, they settled for choosing different colour dresses for them all. Each of them wear a colour that is significant to their character personality. Suki wears blue, Denise wears green, Linda is in pink, while Kathy picks purple.
Of course, considering that the mega EastEnders story is centered around Sharon’s wedding, so she is wearing an iconic white gown. However, there is one character who still is in the initial choice of themed colour. Stacey Slater is wearing a red sequined dress! The colour of Christmas, the colour of passion, and the colour of blood.

All through the year a number of clues and trailers teased many male characters as the possible victim on EastEnders. Several mini storylines branched out that entwined Kathy and Rocky, Phil, Keanu and Sharon, Suki, Nish and Ravi, Linda and Dean, as possible killer and victims. However, there is one woman who is connected to more than one story and more than one man in this Christmas tree! Again, Stacey Slater. Jack and Stacey have started an affair while Jack is still married to Denise!
Meanwhile, Stacey also is set to find out Nish and Ravi’s involvement in Eve’s disappearance on EastEnders. Interestingly, actress Lacey Turner herself admitted in an earlier media interaction that Stacey would kill for Eve. They are like sisters, she asserted. So will she? Another interesting point to note here is that if Stacey really sheds red. Then it won’t be her first rodeo! Ardent viewers will remember that Stacey has killed pn Christmas before! Right there on The Vic’s floor!
