EastEnders: Danielle Harold Lights Up the Screen for a Soaps Special

The ex-EastEnders star Danielle Harold returns to grace our TV screens this Saturday night. She’ll be appearing in the soap edition of BBC One’s Celebrity Bridge of Lies. Danielle Harold is popular for her role as Walford’s Lola Pearce and her stint on I’m A Celebrity. Now, the actress is back to compete alongside familiar faces from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks in the game show. Keep scrolling to know all about it!

EastEnders: The EE Star Makes a Comeback!

The EastEnders star joins forces with Corrie’s Simon Gregson, Emmerdale’s Chris Bisson (Jai Sharma), and Hollyoaks’ Lucy-Jo Hudson. They will put aside their soap rivalries to tackle the show’s famous Bridge as a team. There’s one more soap connection: Our very own Ross Kemp (Grant Mitchell) hosts the BBC One’s popular game show. Moreover, Ross asks Danielle, referencing Lola’s tragic exit, “Saying goodbye to Lola must have been tough?”

Daniella will be appearing in the soap edition of BBC One’s Celebrity Bridge of Lies.

The EastEnders legend replies, “Yeah, it was really difficult. I was actually waiting for a visit from my Uncle Grant, but…” Then Ross pokes fun, saying that Uncle Grant was off on a beach in Portugal, mixing cocktails or drinking them. The game show returned last week for a new eight-part series. Additionally, Ross hosts the high-stakes quiz show where he guides teams of celebs across an interactive bridge on the studio floor. Contestants must step on the truth and avoid the lies.

If they don’t comply, they can get booted from the game. The ex-EastEnders star Ross reflected on the show, “I have such a brilliant time filming the daytime version of Bridge of Lies.” However, he revealed there’s something about the celebrity edition that kicks the excitement up a notch. Ross added, “Maybe it’s the fact that the celebs are doing it for charity.” Or perhaps they’ve got their reputations to uphold! Anyway, the ongoing season is star-studded, and the competition is hotter than ever.

Furthermore, the typical rivalries between pop, soap stars, and comedians have taken a backseat. This is because teamwork is the key to conquering the Bridge.
