If there is anything more awaited than Christmas this December, then it is the EastEnders Christmas special storyline. Which, by it’s name sounds all warm and fuzzy. But in reality, is going to end up in a murderous twist and a body on the floor. The victim somehow tying with “The Six”. TV Season & Spoilers has extensively discussed many possibilities of who the murderer and the murdered could be. But the makers of the BBC One soap have just dropped a dramatic new teaser, and we are shaken. If you want to find out what it’s all about, keep reading!
The initial Christmas Fast Forward teaser showed The Six – Sharon, Kathy, Linda, Stacey, Denise and Suki standing over a dead body. All of this was set against a Christmas backdrop. Furthermore, Sharon was dressed in a wedding gown in the teaser. Thus, suggesting that she was heading towards a Christmas wedding. Most likely with on and off partner – Keanu. Now, the latest teaser puts the spotlight directly on Kathy. The Beale Matriarch is seen rather violently chopping a bunch of flowers. The teaser is set to the tunes of Florence & the Machine’s 2015 hit What Kind of Man.
Kathy Unleashes Her Rage on EastEnders
The teaser then goes on to quickly flash the faces of the other five EastEnders matriarchs. The screen then cuts to black and the text reads, “In a flash, everything changes.” But that’s all that the teaser offered. Very cryptic, indeed. But we wonder if it has something to do with her husband Rocky Cotton. Regular viewers know that the man has dug himself quite deep in a mess that he created himself. After losing a pile of money in gambling, he took a loan from Nish. Then, to pay off the loan, he set Kathy’s cafe on fire. Hoping to dip into the insurance money.
Rocky’s desperate moves then ended up landing his own, as well as, Peter and Bobby’s lives in danger on EastEnders. Meanwhile, Kathy was arrested in connection to the Cafe fire. Could it be possible that near Christmas Kathy finds out about the truth and unleashes her rage at Rocky? We do know that actor Brian Conley (Rocky) is exiting the soap. Thus, this big reveal could pave the path to Kathy and his marriage falling apart and his exit. But the big question is, could this story be connected to the Christmas murder?
