EastEnders: Max Bowden Candidly Confesses About GRIEF In the Latest IG Clip!

Axed EastEnders star Max Bowden has now spoken up about his own journey of self-love and dealing with things. The actor confessed to finding it hard to deal with grief in his latest Instagram post. Max shared a heartfelt video of himself reading a poem about coping with loss, encouraging fans to get in on the chat. Keep reading to find out more about what Max had to say!

EastEnders: Max Gets Real With Fans!

The EastEnders star had previously shared this really touching pic on the anniversary of his close pal’s passing. And now this black-white clip brought back all the whirlwind of emotions. Moreover, it looks like He’s been dealing with some serious “relentless waves of pain and anger.” But Bowden is all about sparking up a discussion this time around!

In the video, Max is reading this poem by Hussain Manawer. It is titled “You May Have Died, But You Are Still Alive” to the camera. The Ben actor kicked it off with a “Let’s talk about grief.” He posted the video in the wake of his own journey of self-love and acceptance. 

In addition, Max talked about navigating a new outlook on the bygone and its effects on him. He got real how death hits people and how shocking it can be. The EastEnders hunk went on sharing his ordeal after “so much loss.” The actor believed it was high time, to be honest and open a frank discussion about it. 

He wanted to hear how others are handling their own grief, whether it’s good or bad. Max believed that by doing so, “We can somehow create a world in which we aid the majority.” The EastEnders legend announced the curtain call with a classic line: “This too shall pass.”

Bowden’s Trials and Tribulations

Max had been going through a rough patch, losing some close friends, especially his bestie of 15 years in 2022. Then, on top of that, he also got axed from EastEnders in December, 2023. The showrunners decided against renewing his contract, which is up till March of this year.  

Additionally, the EastEnders star has always been very vocal about mental health stuff. Earlier, he called out the keyboard warriors who were bashing one of the soap writers. Writer Daran Little was accused of hating gay characters and faced a hard time online. Max jumped in to support the wordsmith by retweeting his tweet.

Max wrote, “Quite literally responsible for Ballum’s creation in chemistry with his phenomenal ‘I smell queer’ scene. A terrific writer.” He warned netizens not to tag any actors and writers in abuse and negativity. Bowden expressed, “We work SO hard to bring you 2 hours of content EVERY WEEK.” So they should keep their views about EastEnders to themselves!
