Earlier in 2023, EastEnders played out the heart wrenching story of Lola Pearce’s passing after a valiant battle with brain tumor. Her demise left the Walford residents as well the soap fans teary-eyed. While many people have come to terms with the tragedy, Lola’s daughter, Lexi, is still struggling to navigate her way through this life altering incident. The latest EastEnders spoilers reveal that Lexi will be in the center stage in a storyline which will bring forth the revival of Lola’s character.
While, Lola may not return from the dead in the flesh, but actress Danielle Harold will reprise her role for the next best possible appearance. The EastEnders spoilers tease that Lola will continue to be a part of her daughter’s storyline in the form of videos she recorded for Lexi before her passing. Interestingly, Danielle is not the only one reprising her former role on the BBC One soap. There is another character related to her and Lexi, that will soon make a comeback.
Actress Patsy Kensit, who is all set to appear on the rival soap Emmerdale, will also be reprising her role as Emma. Patsy entered EastEnders in March 2023, as Lola’s estranged mother. As viewers might recall, Emma started frequenting Lola’s salon under the guise of Nicole. However, the truth soon came out. But Lola eventually decided that she would like to take the chance of getting to know her mother. Unfortunately, Emma couldn’t handle the pressure of her daughter’s terminal prognosis and bolted.
Later, Patsy reprised her role as Emma once again in June 2023 for a brief appearance on EastEnders. She arrived at the church to leave flowers at Lola’s memorial service. Back then, it felt like that would be the end of Emma’s character on the soap. However, that is not the case. Patsy Kensit has confirmed to the media that she has filmed some scenes for EastEnders. They might be in connection with Lola and Lexi’s storyline. Do you think Emma would return to reconnect with her granddaughter?
