EastEnders character Tiffany Butcher-Baker, better known as Maisie Smith is looking for a potential move across the pond. The couple has been together for almost four years now, and it seems that Smith is planning to leave her hometown. Her latest gangster film is set in South London and tells the tales of the downfall of a London criminal empire. During the movie’s promotion, Maisie spoke to The Sun.
When asked if she could see herself moving to the US with beau Max, she said, ‘Yeah. If the work takes us to LA, then I’ll guess we will have to move to LA.’ We don’t know what more she could’ve said about the potential move to California. Smith might likely be soon seen in core Hollywood movies and around her boyfriend all the time.
While speaking about her relationship, she told The Mirror that people have a lot to say when you’re in a new relationship. However, Max and Maisie have been together for a while now, and their love isn’t just for the cameras. They genuinely love each other and are best friends.
Furthermore, the EastEnders actress also talked about how they received negative comments. But their friends and family have been very supportive and have never seen them happier. The couple looks really happy together, and even though we will miss Maisie if she leaves the UK, we would love for her to have opportunities in Hollywood.
