EastEnders star Sam Attwater made a lightning-fast dash to the hospital! The actor had to rush his eight-year-old daughter Rosie following a horrifying ice skating accident. That’s really sad! Well, Attwater took to social media to share this terrible news.
By the way, Sam shares Rosie with Dancing on Ice pro skater Vicky Ogden. The actor himself shook a leg in Dancing On Ice back in 2011. Anyway, keep scrolling to get the full scoop on the mishap!
EastEnders: Sam Shares Rosie’s Injury on Instagram
The former EastEnders star posted an Instagram story where he explained the accident. Moreover, he kind of blamed Rosie’s ice skating and gymnastic skills combined with impressive flexibility. It led to her accidentally cutting the back of her head with her blade during a skating trick.
Sam wrote, “She managed to get the heel of her blade in the back of her head while kicking backward.” Luckily, the EastEnders fame reassured his followers that Rosie was doing fine after visiting the A&E. Attwater revealed, “‘She’s all good! Thank you to all who messaged and the nurses who looked after her.” He also gave a shout-out to the NHS, “How amazing is the NHS?”
Remember when Sam became the household name for his brief role in EastEnders back in 2010? He portrayed boxer Leon Small back, and his character stirred up loads of chaos. Leon found himself in the feels for his pal Peter Beale’s twin sister, Lucy. But that’s not the crazy stuff, guys; hold up!
The man was quite the charmer, juggling four ladies during his short nine-month stint on EastEnders. Anyway, Sam’s character got mixed up in some wild storylines. Small bumped into Owen Turner’s body buried under a tree in the Square. However, he eventually left the soap due to cheating. Can’t say we didn’t see that coming!
Aside from EastEnders, Attwater competed on Dancing On Ice in 2011 before returning for the All Stars series in 2014. And there he met the love of his life in his skating partner, Vicky. The love birds tied the knot soon after and welcomed two children together. We hope little Rosie recovers soon.
